Snow in June
I was able to shoot a friend from High School's wedding this past June. It was an outdoor wedding planned at a beautiful location called Dwight Country Mansion. The venue was an all in one location and provided beautiful scenery for both the ceremony and reception. Luckily for AJ & Jen the weather cooperated and they were able to have a gorgeous outdoor ceremony.
Like I mentioned, I knew Jen from High School but met AJ at their engagement photos earlier this year. Aj & Jen actually met at her brother's wedding so I hear that he claims the title of matchmaker for the two of them. AJ & Jen are that sweet couple that just get each other perfectly. They cant help but look at each other and smile (and usually laugh). It makes my job really easy when a couple is so natural together. I knew after their engagement photos that this would be a fun wedding, and indeed it was.
The wedding was thoroughly decorated with hard work. Jen actually made all her own decorations and flowers. She is a DIY goddess. Even the bracelet Jen wore was made by her mother in law, which was so intricate and matched the colors perfectly. My second shooter, Heather Lebda, and I were both amazed by all the details that Jen had carefully prepared.
All in all it was a successful day in the life of a wedding photographer; beautiful happy couple, gorgeous weather, and absolutely no glitches. Congratulations AJ & Jen Snow! Thank you for letting me be apart of your big day.
